Choosing a blood pressure monitor for use at home is not an easy task.  Here are some tips to consider:

1. The best option for most people is a digital home blood pressure monitor.  While they are not as accurate as the mercury devices you see at your doctors, they don’t require the use of a stethoscope, and also don’t require any specific training.
